The tertiary student card does not allow you to enjoy a transfer rebate of S$0.25 on buses after you have taken a MRT train ride using train concession pass before that.
However, the adult card allows you to enjoy this transfer rebate of S$0.25 when used separately with the tertiary student card (adult card used only when taking buses; tertiary student card used only when taking trains - due to the train concession).

That is why it is best to separate your usage of the ez-link cards according to buses and trains.
Especially if you are using a concession on your tertiary student card.
Don't get cheated by SBS Transit.
The transfer rebates of S$0.25 can add up to alot of savings after long-term usage.
