episode: -> R-A-N-D-O-M. <-
went to school earlier than usual this morning (@ 1030; lecture @ 1200).
went straight to the Chemistry laboratory.
went straight to retrieve my unknown compounds A and N.
went straight to the melting point determinant machine.
and finally. at long last. after three days. got the chance to determine my products A and N's melting points. in order to identify the identity of acidic (A) and neutral (N) organic compounds.

the results of my precipitates A and N (three weeks ago).
(the experiment: separate out compounds A and N, from the mixture of A and N)

the results of my (the same) products A and N (three days ago).
(the experiment: recrystallise out compounds A and N, from their separate saturated solutions)
had Biodiversity laboratory practical this afternoon. was all about animals diversity.
another three hours straight of facts drilling (similar to that of plants diversity). before ending it all dramatically with a CA - an essay question worth ten marks (counted towards our final grade somemore). x_x
three long hours aside. facts drilling aside. stupid CA essay question aside. stupid answers (i also can't remember what rubbish i scribbled) aside. (stupid fishy pungent smell aside too) this practical class was actually pretty cool.
we got to see both dead (specimens) and alive (wondrous creatures).
in order of what i remembered observing (from station to station; starting from my station - station two)..
(station two) prawns. lobsters. crabs. spiders. scorpions. horseshoe crab. millipedes. centipedes. butterflies. beetles.
(station three) snails. slugs. cockles. clams. squids. cuttlefishes.
(station four) feather stars. sea urchins. sea stars. brttle stars. sea cucumbers.
(station five) hagfish. shark. tilapia. frogs. salamanders. mud puppies. terrapins. python. tortoise shell + skeleton.
(station six) birds. kangeroo. cheetah. fruit bat. alot of animal skulls.
(station one) sponges. jellyfish. corals. flatworms. roundworms. earthworms.
cool right? ^^
next week's practical class is to go Changi beach (even better). to catch more living animals (from what i heard) apparently. and check out their natural habitats.
was minding my own business (as usual). when i heard someone call out my name @ Eunos MRT station tonight (@ 2100; so late already somemore).
surprise surprise! happy happy! ^^
met Si Jie.. around five months never see her le. and she is in NTU Biological Sciences now.

Si Jie and me (on bus 51).
(we look dead tired - mentally and physically x_x)
