episode: -> Post-Christmas Pre-New Year Party. <-
Cheng Yuan organised a post-Christmas pre-New Year party over at Kai Chun's house today.
it was fun. farnee. lots of laughter.
11/16 Cheng Yuan people made it.
Chuan Yuan. Zhang Han. Wei Qi. Kai Chun. Wendy. Sabrina. Vivien. Charmaine. Stephanie. Li Seng. and me. :)
went Yew Tee MRT station.
i have never been there before.
disliked the idea of taking MRT train all the way anyways.
thus decided to take bus 854 to Khatib or Yishun MRT station before taking the MRT train instead.
(ratio of bus 25 : bus 854 from 1100 - 1130 = 3 : 1; yet all along i have always thought the ratio should be 1 : 1)
met Chuan Yuan and Zhang Han.
we were the only ones able to make it at 1300.
(Chuan Yuan was still sick and coughing away. poor him.)
Zhang Han led the way but we ended up in the opposite direction.
(apparently we went out the wrong exit; exit A instead of exit C)
walked around in circles for almost an hour before seeing our destination, Windemere.
(21st storey is very high! x_x)
Wei Qi reached first.
we came second.
by then it was almost 1400.
we went down to the clubhouse to play pool.
(it was raining slightly; thus tennis was out)
Wendy and Sabrina arrived at around 1430 soon after.
we played bridge after pool.
Vivien came at around 1540.
we assembled back at Kai Chun's house to chit-chat.
Chuan Yuan, Sabrina and Wendy had to go off at 1700.
Stephanie was "lost" and stuck in the east.
(Tampines, Bedok, Kembagan and Eunos.. train tracks technical fault according to her; NOT due to her weight which she emphasised so many times)
Stephanie eventually finally reached after much efforts.
(she complained that she had to stand all the way in the MRT train)
Charmaine and Li Seng came not long after we started dinner at around 1930.
had gifts exchange between the remaining 8 of us.
we labelled the presents 1 - 8.
and drew lots to see who to get whose gift.
because Stephanie and i bought our gifts together.
she knew what was mine and i knew what was hers.
(she was hoping to get mine and she did. HAHA! ^^)
Vivien's was no. 1 - Li Seng.
Charmaine's was no. 2 - Wei Qi.
Stephanie's was no. 3 - Kai Chun.
Zhang Han's was no. 4 - me.
Li Seng's was no. 5 - Vivien.
Kai Chun's was no. 6 - Zhang Han.
mine was no. 7 - Stephanie.
Wei Qi's was no. 8 - Charmaine.
it was fun seeing everybody's reaction after opening their presents.
by luck or by coincidence..
(probability applies here? LOL.)
Vivien ended up "exchanging" with Li Seng.
Wei Qi ended up "exchanging" with Charmaine.
Stephanie ended up getting what she wanted. cool. o.O
we left at around 2200.
nobody stayed over at Kai Chun's house. sad.
(thought Zhang Han could; Wei Qi too)
it was already 2235 by the time we reached Yew Tee MRT station.
i wanted to get off at Yishun or Khatib MRT station to take bus 854 again initially.
but decided against it knowing how irregular bus 854 timings can be at night.
(there was once i waited almost 40 minutes with Gwen at her house. :Z)
alighted at Ang Mo Kio MRT station.
bus 22 goes a long way to my house directly actually.
(but i didn't want to get scolded for reaching home very late)
took bus 25 with Wei Qi instead.
it was pretty fast.
20 minutes to Eunos Link.
(compared to 40 minutes to my house on bus 22; Eunos Link is just three stops away from my house somemore)
the bus arriving time board at the bus stop outside Ang Mo Kio MRT station also not accurate.
it displayed "Arr" for a good 8 minutes before the bus 25 actually arrived. dots.
cheat people's feelings one. -_-"
reached home at 2335.
earlier than Stephanie. heh.
