episode: -> DNA in E. coli. <-
went to school only for LSM1102 Molecular Genetics laboratory class.
(next Monday; no laboratory class = no school! ^^)
we are to extract genomic DNA from E. coli (bacteria cells).
cousin Belinda was so afraid that she would get the bacteria or the genomic DNA extracted from the bacteria cells from me.
(we wore laboratory coat and gloves; we washed hands after laboratory class ended)
almost got lost searching for MacDonalds at the Faculty of Engineering.
our strand of genomic DNA precipitated out in this two-layered solution.(my laboratory partner using a micropipette to measure out 0.5ml of solution accurately in the background)
the thin glass rods we tried shaping into a hook by using fire to melt the glass.(we are making a hook because we need to get the genomic DNA strand out from the solution)
