was somewhat addicted to the chinese drama series "大宋提刑官" (China production), showing every weekday late night, on channel CCTV4.
(my parents were the ones addicted first, and i was forced-耳濡目染 into liking it later)
i must admit, "大宋提刑官" is one really good "金田一"-like drama, with added elements - dating back to 宋朝 + forensic science involved.

despite the main plot centres around 洗清冤情, but as the story progresses on, it ain't that simple anymore..
.. with the ending entwined with a sad feeling of 无奈 and 欲哭无泪 combined.
the story speaks of human nature, which exists, even today.



the theme song is pretty emotional, with a tinge of sadness and helplessness.
