it is again the festive season to rejoice! :D:D:D
Kinokuniya is having an ongoing 20% members' discount storewide now, from 21st to 25th October 2010! :):):)


i had headed down promptly to Kinokuniya yesterday, with only a mere intention of purchasing my usual manga(s) craze's worth.
however, i noticed quite a strange phenomenon that i have never seen before.
(or maybe because i don't take note that much anyways; i am slow. x_x)
many shoppers were carrying around several bulky items of what appear to be boxes wrapped inside magazines. @_@
that caught my attention straight away, since the boxes inside magazines could only mean = freebies! :D:D:D
but the prices are generally in the S$25 range, stretching across a range of S$16+ - S$35+, even up to S$40!
that immediately woke me up to my senses, and i bought home only my usual manga(s) for my collection.

to my utter surprise, i had bought two of the five manga(s) previously already. -_-"
thus now, i have duplicate copies! Zzzzz.. -_-"
heading back to Kinokuniya today to exchange my (still nicely sealed) duplicate copies, i found..
.. there are even MORE people patronising Kinokuniya now.
(it is a weekend, of course!)
everybody is simply looking around and discussing about the sales of the various mooks (mook = magazine + book). @_@
what's the hottest, what's worth to buy, what's not.. etc etc.
following what i had read up and researched on about the freebies given this autumn/winter season/collection by the various mooks yesterday..
.. the Fred Perry Autumn/Winter Collection 2010 - this grey tote bag, is very worth a buy! :D:D:D
hence, i exchanged my two duplicate manga copies, and used my membership card for an extra 20% off, and paid an additional S$10.98 to bring home this:
